Tanner dislocated his elbow again today. This is the 6th time he has done it, and the 2nd time in the past 6 weeks. Last time, the doctor said 'One more time and we send him over to the pediatric orthopedic surgeon'. Apparently, there is a ligament that they can surgically tighten to keep him from popping it out. The culprit this time? His friend sitting on the bus behind him gave his arm a tug. Apparently this happened at the beginning of the 45 minute bus ride...the remainder of which Tanner was completely hysterical and in pain.
Poor little buddy.

:( Poor guy!! Time to get that elbow fixed!
A little pain from the surgery now may save more later. Yuck. I'm sorry Tanner.
Owwwwweeee, give that boy some extra hugs and Golden Grahams for his grandpa!!
Sorry Tanner, it must had been a long bus ride back home.....Too bad your grand pa wasn't the driver he would had taken good care of you
Ouch! That sounds painful.
And Jim and Amy, I know what it's like to see your kids go through this. You are just as much in my prayers as Tanner is. You'd both trade places with him in a heartbeat if you could.
Please keep us updated. If not on this blog, then through Grandma Jeanie.
I know you'll get him to a good Pediatric Orthopedic surgeon. Poor guy. Please let me know when!
