Instead of 'breaking' an egg or 'peeling an egg' - the boys are 'hatching them'. Not sure where that one came from- but it's too cute.
Tanner: "Mommy - Alex is hatching an Easter egg!" (aka he peeled an egg on the floor in front of the fridge without asking)
Alex: "Tanner - do NOT HATCH YOUR EGG!" (aka don't break your egg...exclaimed while coloring easter eggs last night)
I don't think I'll correct them...it puts a smile on my face every time they say it.

That is so sweet! This is the first year we've really done Easter with the girls. It's so cute! They're obsessed with baby chicks right now, so every time we crack open a hard-boiled egg, they expect to find a baby bird inside.
That's wonderful!
I'm gland you don't correct them. This language is their special gift. You'll never see a hard-boiled egg the same way again.
The boys will have to visit the Museum of Sience and Industry with the girls.
I would love to take them to the Museum of Science and Industry. I remember going in middle school. Kelly - have you taken the girls, or is it for a little older kiddos?
That is so adorable! I love the sayings that come out of kids' mouths and from their thoughts. It would make an adorable scrapbook page, I can picture it...... Ashley ;-)
Did Dad vomit when they started eating hard-boiled eggs? He had a bad experience with eggs when he was little. Poor Jim...
